May 19, 2012 — I finally got to do a shoot with good friend and stylist Ann-Marie H. I chose to display a bit of her versatility in styling by doing a more endogenous approach. Utilizing inspiration from Ian Fleming’s 007:From Russia With Love and Malcolm X’s Liberate our Minds…By Any Means Necessary novels she easily took control over the character and portrayed the vision very well. I’ve always been fond of Spec-Ops / Espionage dynamics and thought this would make a perfect combination with Ann-Marie.

May 03, 2012 — Levi Strauss & Company employees volunteer all over the world to help out their communities. Some worked at their local Goodwill, local beach, local thrift store, and local state park. Our team went to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to spend a few hours sorting through donated canned and pre-packaged food. This opportunity was an eye-opener as we learned how indirectly children suffer from our diminishing economy as more than 23% (1 out of 4) of the children in California do not know where their next meal is coming from. It’s ironic especially living in Los Angeles we tend to overlook the hardships people go through because we’re so caught up in the glitz and glam of so called “Hollywood” that we truly forget how bad our economic system is. ”GOD_LESS AMERIKA.”

May 01, 2012 — Today protestors flock Downtown Los Angeles to express their liberal freedoms as U.S. citizens and U.S. immigrants. Police officers were armed with riot masks and batons in case a riot were to break out. The police also blocked off several main intersections in DTLA as the protestors occupied the streets. Civil activists flooded the yard of Pershing Square like hippies in the 1960’s protesting against U.S. capitalism and laws against immigration.Though upon my arrival I saw no confrontations, the police were ready to take action if needed. “GOD_LESS AMERIKA.”
